Robert C Della Rocca is an ophthalmologist and specialist in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid, midfacial and orbital surgery. He is an outstanding surgeon and professor treating abnormalities of the eyelids, traumatic injuries involving the upper face and eyelids, removal of benign and malignant tumors of the eyelids and surrounding tissue. The practice with his son, David Della Rocca, MD, treats complicated diseases of the orbit including thyroid eye disease and orbital tumors. Dr. Della Rocca is Chief of Eyelid and Orbital Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine. He is honored to be a co-founder with Darlene Della Rocca, RN of the Volunteer Health Program (VHP) which has, for over twenty years, served patients from remote villages in the Dominican Republic.
